Electronics and Microprocessors

About the Subject:

This subject enable the students to understand the fundamental concepts of Semi-Conductors, Transistors, Rectifiers, Digital Electronics and 8085 Microprocessors. A microprocessor is an electronic component that is used by a computer to do its work. It is a central processing unit on a single integrated circuit chip containing millions of very small components including transistors, resistors, and diodes that work together.

Topics to be covered in this Seminar:

Classification of solids based on energy band theory-Intrinsic semiconductors-Extrinsic semiconductors - Bipolar junction transistor- CB, CE, CC configuration and characteristics-Biasing circuits - Binary number system - AND, OR, NOT, NAND, NOR circuits-Boolean algebra - Block diagram of microcomputer-Architecture of 8085-Pin configuration-Instruction set- Addressing modes - Basic interfacing concepts - Interfacing of Input and Output devices

Time to be planned :

1 or 2 days

Kind of program :

3D based Seminar and Guest Lecture for the Students

Reason for the program  :

Kalam Scientist Team aiming to build young generation Scientist
